That's exactly how the Twinkle Twist Square came to be.
I was inspired by an AI-generated image featuring a beautiful twisted star design. It looked like crochet, but the image wasn't created from an actual crochet pattern, and the pattern associated with it wasn't accurate. Rather than trying to make the impossible work, I used the image as inspiration and designed my own crochet version using my own creativity.
The finished square features a fun twisted center that gives it plenty of texture and dimension. I've also included an optional star embellishment if you want to take the design in a more celestial direction. ⭐✨
